Our journey to Greek olive oil
We are Glad and Lolo, two travel and discovery enthusiasts. In 2019, we left everything behind to travel the world and discover exceptional products. It was in the heart of Greece that we discovered an artisan Greek olive oil that changed the course of our journey.
It was in Greece that our adventure took an unexpected turn. While exploring hillsides lined with centuries-old olive trees, we met a local producer. This passionate man shared with us his know-how and his love for artisan olive oil, a noble, natural and wholesome product.
At that moment, it became clear: this exceptional oil deserved to be known beyond its borders. That is how Ellada was born, a name inspired by the Greek word for Greece, in tribute to this generous and radiant land.
Today, we are proud to support this small producer from the Peloponnese. We offer you his extra virgin olive oil — flavourful, authentic and accessible. Through every bottle, we want to take you on a journey, if only for the length of a meal, to the sun-drenched olive groves of Greece.

8,000 to 12,000 litres
of extra virgin olive oil produced every year, at the scale of a family estate in the south-west Peloponnese.

Producing our Greek olive oil
The family estate, passed down from generation to generation, carries on a traditional know-how. Every olive tree is tended with care, without any chemical products. This respect for nature helps preserve the quality of the olives.
Each year, the estate produces between 8,000 and 12,000 litres of extra virgin olive oil. This modest output guarantees a high standard, in keeping with a craft-based, season-led way of farming.
Located in the sunny region of Messenia, in the south-west of the Peloponnese, the estate spans around a hundred hectares. The olive trees, some of them centuries old, grow on windswept, limestone-rich slopes. These natural conditions give the olives a fruity, well-balanced taste and a precious nutritional richness.
The olives are hand-picked at the optimal moment of ripeness. This same care continues through the production process, which follows five rigorous steps using the cold-extraction method: leaf removal, washing, crushing, malaxation and extraction. A final separation then yields a pure oil, rich in aroma.
This artisan production reflects the meeting of tradition, nature and passion. Every drop of oil tells the story of a family, a terroir, and a genuine commitment to quality.
